Trans fat, which increases the incidence of adult diseases exponentially
Trans fats are vegetable fats. 'But why are vegetable fat bad for your body?'
Trans fat, which is known to be worse for the body than animal fat, is the fat that comes from the solidification of hydrogenated vegetable fat with hydrogen to make it easy to carry and store.
The most representative foods are margarine and shortening. In particular, shortening is more serious because it is used in large quantities in commercial foods and foods such as sweets and tempura.
Trans fats have a very bad impact on your health, especially because they increase your body's low-density protein lipids, which are known to cause heart disease or arteriosclerosis and cause heart attacks or strokes.
Obesity, of course, also increases the likelihood of developing diabetes, colorectal cancer, and breast cancer. Crispy fries and sweets look delicious, but you should know that there are lots of trans fats that shorten our lives.
Trans fat increases bad cholesterol that narrows blood vessels and reduces good cholesterol that cleans blood vessels.
The World Health Organization limits adult intake of trans fat to 2.2 g per day. But the popcorn contains 11g of trans fat, 4.7g of donuts, 3.2g of processed chocolate, and 2.9g of fried potatoes, all of which exceed the daily intake of adults.
Dietary laws to reduce trans fat intake
1. Margarine, shortening, mayonnaise precaution!
It is best not to eat too much trans fatty food. There are also ingredients such as margarine, shortening and mayonnaise, as well as popcorn, croissants, donuts, pizza, sweets, cookies, french fries, hamburgers and chocolate treats made from these ingredients.
2. Use olive oil or grape seed oil.
It can reduce the incidence of trans fat while making food at home. It is wise to use olive oil or grape seed oil instead of margarine or shortening for cooking. Especially, olive oil contains beta-carotene, the only antioxidant in vegetable oil, which helps prevent aging and increase immunity. There is no trans fat in butter, but cholesterol is high, so avoid frequent use. If you must use margarine, do not exceed more than one teaspoon.
3. Frequent intake of nuts and sweet fish
It is also a good way to eat a lot of fish.
4. Do not reuse frying oil
If you use frying oil several times, it causes excessive trans fats.
5. Cooking method rather than frying
When eating fish, meat, or potatoes, choose a recipe to bake in an oven or grill, rather than frying them or baking in a pan.
